Central to the life of the College is prayer. During the liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent additional liturgies are provided when needed. On a number of major feast days Mass is celebrated for the entire College community in the College Hall and Sports' Hall. On such occasions guest priests, often from neighbouring or feeder parishes, are invited to celebrate the liturgy

As in all Catholic schools, the intention of the College is to build on the faith already laid down in the home.  The Religious Education Department of Our Lady & St Patrick’s College, Knock has as its primary objective the development of the student’s spirituality in order to equip him or her for the rigours and the full enjoyment of life. It approaches this task in a holistic way in an attempt to enrich all the dimensions of the student’s school life.

A comprehensive programme has been designed to meet all the needs of the developing young person.  This programme includes a strong pastoral dimension, including a retreat experience.  The programme also seeks to promote awareness, sensitivity and respect for other sincerely held beliefs.
